Today is another huge milestone in the short history of XVenture. I would like to provide a heartfelt and deep thank you to the XVenture team for its incredible support and commitment in helping me build the FCA XV Essential skills program which was fully completed today.
12 months of work. 200,000 words; 5 modules; 103 subjects; 60 hours of World class multimedia content in the first ever virtual reality online learning platform available globally. Combined with a fun and engaging testing program, which can provide successful participants easier access to University education and CPD points.
I’d also like to thank those who have provided so much inspiration for many of the cases and provided me with first- hand experience in the football environment over the years… Terry McFlynn, Phil Moss, Graham Arnold, Rene Meulensteen, Richie Garcia, Steve McGarry, Heather Garriock, John Crawley, Steve Corica, Ufuk Talay, Ben Sawyer and so many more.
I know when our team started on this journey of building the FCA XV Essential Skills program (in a virtual world environment no less!) few understood, but now as coaches around the World have commenced using it, the light bulbs are turning on! Coaches from Australia; UK; USA; New Zealand; India; Pakistan; Bangladesh; Greece; Canada are already learning and having fun at the same time. I think that’s worthy of a celebration.
Many of you will know that social justice and fostering an ethical and giving culture has been a significant part of any organization I have had the privilege of leading. XVenture is no different, and over the last 8 years, the team at XVenture have embraced opportunities to give and support those less fortunate on many occasions, often making personal sacrifices to do so.
Now, as we hand over the completed works to Glenn Warry, CEO of Football Coaches Australia for the coaching community, we’re making a commitment to ensuring it is accessible to all coaches via “Play it Forward”.
For every coach who undertakes this program with Football Coaches Australia, we will “Play It Forward” by providing a coach who can’t afford the program full access to this body of work too. Imagine – coaches around the World helping the next generation! Improving lives and growing the game. Surely that’s what it’s about?
Find out how you can be part of this coaching revolution by visiting www.FCAXVCollege.com and keep a look out for the ‘Play It Forward’ launch.
There are no barriers.
